Over Christmas vacation, we went on what was Mama’s and the boys’ first visit to Disney World. It was mostly magical — and then there were the moments of disenchantment.
On parking lot tram fatigue
Ben: “I already goed on the train. FOUR. TIMES.”
Waiting for the monorail into the park. Our second line of the day.
On meeting Mater and Lightning
Jonah: “I thought they were REAL.”

On melting down in line for the Laugh Floor
Ben: “We were going to see Monsters, Inc., and then I throwed your hat so we had to go and we couldn’t see Monsters, Inc.”
There's a parade going on somewhere in there -- I know it!
On dedication to a tantrum
Ben: “I don’t WANNA look at the boat!”
Jonah looks worried that we might not actually find Nemo.
On delayed gratification
Jonah (after meeting his first Disney characters): “Can we go do something now?”
Ah, yes. THERE'S the familiar putting-on-the-brakes posture of the exhausted child.
